Beijing University of Chemical Technology and Nanjing Chuangbo Machinery Co., Ltd. have cooperated in a lot of research and development work in the field of fiber-reinforced composite materials in recent years. Combined with many years of engineering design experience and basic research results, the engineering design, equipment and technical details of different LFT-G long fiber reinforced pellet processes can be collaboratively developed.

The production technology of PP/GF, PP/BF, PA/CF series long fiber reinforced pellets developed in this project has the advantages of high impregnation degree, low fiber breakage, controllable fiber content, etc. With high-level features, a production scale of 2,000 tons per year can be achieved on a single production line.

Advantages of this process route of LFT-G long fiber reinforced pellets


1) Low cost and low energy consumption

This project adopts the optimized continuous impregnation process to prepare long fiber reinforced pellets, the production cycle is greatly reduced, and the raw material inventory can also be significantly reduced, which further reduces the production line area and costs.


2) Environmental advantages

This project does not produce harmful gas in the production process, and does not cause harm to the environment. The project does not discharge industrial sewage during the production process, and mainly discharges domestic sewage. After the domestic sewage is treated in the septic tank, it is discharged into the sewage pipe network, which will not cause pollution to the environment.


The production of the project is mainly based on prepreg-based composite materials. The company will recycle the leftovers and scraps. During the production process, there is only a small amount of domestic waste, which will be sent by the company to the waste bins of the factory for unified cleaning.


The equipment selected for this project is energy-saving, low-noise, and advanced in performance. Noise sources are mainly generated by fans and air compressors. A muffler is installed at the air inlet of the fan, which can reduce noise by about 15dB. The air compressor is a screw type, and a muffler is installed at the air inlet, and the noise is controlled below 66dB, which will not cause pollution to the environment.


Greening plays a special role in preventing pollution, protecting and improving the environment. It has the functions of purifying the air and reducing noise.  Therefore, the greening of the environment should be strengthened during operation. In the design, plants and shrubs are considered to be planted before and after each building, and they are managed by special personnel. A garden-like factory is built, so that people and nature can develop in harmony.


3) Fully automatic production process

Through the combination of advanced manufacturing and intelligent control, this project can automatically monitor and collect process data during the production process, and automatically adjust and optimize the production process, thereby greatly reducing the labor level of operators, realizing fully automatic operation of the production line, and reducing labor costs. It has great advantages in cost, reducing labor intensity of workers and reducing operator requirements.
