The 7th International Industrial Conference & Application Exhibition on Bio-based Materials organized by DT New Materials, Bio-based Energy and Materials is held during 9-11, 2022 in Ningbo, China.
The event set up seven sub-forums including bio-based/degradable plastics, bio-based fibers and their innovative applications. At the meeting, Professor Zhang Liqun, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, introduced the current situation of the serious shortage of natural rubber production capacity in China and pointed out the importance of developing bio-based elastomers. With the continuous advancement of "carbon peak carbon neutralization", the market for bio-based degradable products is huge, and the recycling and degradable research and development of petroleum-based products are equally important, which is an important energy saving way to reduce emissions before realizing full coverage of bio-based degradable products. At the same time, entrepreneurs and university experts said that building a whole industry chain with a certain renewable monomer and its polymer as the core is the future of enterprise development.
